International Education Month

FSU values our diverse community and global learning. Due to the increased profile of FSU's global footprint and winning two prestigious awards for internationalization in the last several years, FSU began celebrating international education throughout the month of November to build on the U.S. Department of State's International Education Week, which occurs during the third week of the month each year.

“FSU has a rich history of supporting internationalization and cultural diversity,” said President John Thrasher. “Ensuring that our students have the skills, competencies and global awareness needed for success in the 21st century has long been one of our top priorities.”

We look forward to providing culturally-enriching opportunities for the FSU community in November 2020 to celebrate International Education Month at FSU.

Information about International Education Week:

FSU is expanding on International Education Week, a joint initiative led by the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Education, which is celebrated across the nation during the third week of November. This observance provides universities with an opportunity to celebrate the benefits of international education and acknowledge the importance of having international students and scholars on our campuses. To learn more about this initiative, visit the official U.S. International Education Week website
