About FSU’s Global Exchange Programs
FSU’s Global Exchanges provide FSU students the opportunity to attend a university abroad as an exchange student for one semester while earning credit and paying FSU tuition and fees. FSU has partnerships with more than 40 universities in 20 countries around the globe. These locations include Australia, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, South Korea, Spain, and the United Kingdom, to name just a few. Many exchange programs are open to various majors, but some are specific to certain FSU colleges or departments. Global Exchanges offer an affordable option for FSU students to have an immersive experience abroad while paying their regular FSU tuition and fees and using their financial aid, including Bright Futures, Pre-Paid and any other scholarships.
FSU’s Global Exchanges also supports the inbound students from FSU’s partner universities from around the world. These students enroll at FSU for one or two semesters and take classes with FSU students while becoming actively engaged in U.S. campus life.

Global Noles Peer Program
Global Noles
The CGE offers the Global Nole mentor program to assist incoming exchange students with their pre-arrival questions and adjustment to life once at FSU. Exchange students are paired with volunteer FSU undergraduate students. The Global Nole mentors communicate with the new students before they arrive in Tallahassee and participate in social events to ensure they become involved in campus life as quickly as possible.
“[This] is my first experience with America and studying abroad, so I was very excited to come here. My mentor Catherine contacted me a few weeks before my arrival in Tallahassee, which made me less nervous and more confident to make my way around. The mentor program is an awesome and helpful opportunity to settle in and to meet new people. FSU is unbelievably impressive … and I'm very happy that I chose this university.” – Sina Reetz, an exchange student from Oldenburg University, Germany.
