CGE Announces Fall 2018 Global Cafés
The CGE and four international student organizations will co-host Global Cafés this fall on select Fridays from 11:30 a.m. until food runs out in The Globe Dining Room.
- September 28: Dominican Republic, Dominican Student Association
- October 12: Central America, Central American United Student Association
- October 26: China, Chinese Students and Scholars Association
- November 9: Iran, Iranian Student Association
Students, faculty, staff, and members of the Tallahassee community enjoy authentic international cuisine and music at this student-led fundraiser for just $8 per plate (cash or check only).
This student-centered program increases awareness and appreciation of cultural diversity on our campus. The Dominican Student Association will host the first Global Café of the semester featuring the Dominican Republic.
The Dominican Student Association’s mission is to share its members' culture with the broader FSU community by hosting a variety of cultural, social, and educational events. Attend the Global Café to meet members and learn more.
This event counts as an intercultural event for undergraduates enrolled in the Global Citizenship Certificate or faculty and staff completing the Global Partner Certificate.
