Seminole Dining Co-Hosts International Coffee Hour Featuring Germany on Oct. 26

Seminole Dining will co-host this International Coffee Hour featuring Chef Sebastian Stallman, a visiting Sodexo chef from Celle, Germany, through the Global Chefs Program. Chef Sebastian will prepare samplings of Bavarian cream with fresh raspberries and chicken schnitzel with fresh lemon and a hot potato salad.

In addition, a variety of samples from the new Argo Tea location in the Shores Building will be served.

“Chef Sebastian has fully embraced Florida State University,” said Seminole Dining Executive Culinary Director Travis Johnson. “He truly enjoys sharing his food and culture with students across campus.”

Chef Sebastian is one of a dozen Sodexo chefs from across the world who venture to the U.S. for four-week culinary residencies. The mission of the Global Chef Program is for chefs to share their authentic cuisine while learning about U.S. culture.

Chef Sebastian loves to be creative and features diverse flavors when he’s cooking. He earned a culinary degree and trained as a chef, and now serves Sodexo as a Kitchen Manager in Hanover, Germany. As a child, Chef Sebastian found his passion in cooking and loves coming to the kitchen each day because it’s always a new adventure.

Located at the Shores Building, Argo Tea is Seminole Dining’s newest location. Argo Tea brings unique and delicious signature beverages and teas from around the globe.

Students, staff, and faculty gather every Friday for International Coffee Hour from 5-6:30 p.m. in The Globe Dining Room for refreshments from a featured culture and to interact with people from around the world.
