New International Student Advisory Board Co-Hosts Upcoming International Coffee Hour
The CGE’s New International Student Advisory Board will co-host International Coffee Hour this Friday at The Globe from 5-6:30 p.m.
The ISAB was established by the CGE to enhance international student engagement at Florida State University.
“We’re really excited to introduce ISAB to our international students this Friday,” said Emily Leyava, program assistant charged with coordinating the new board. “We want students to know that the board is focused on producing additional enriching programming geared toward increasing engagement with the larger FSU community.”
The ISAB is made up of 13 graduate and undergraduate international students from a variety of international student organizations, majors, and countries. At the inaugural meeting on January 17, members discussed challenges international students face at FSU and ways to minimize these challenges through new initiatives, programs, and services.
