FSU Welcomes New International Students
Florida State University’s Center for Global Engagement (CGE) welcomed over 150 new international students from 26 countries to campus this spring. These new arrivals contribute to FSU's global footprint, which now includes over 1,700 international students coming from approximately 120 countries and areas.
"We are excited to have so many international students join us this semester given all of the obstacles they had to go through in order to arrive," said Cindy Green, Director of the CGE. "We look forward to having them involved on campus and adding to the rich cultural diversity of the FSU community."
Nine of the new arrivals are international exchange students from FSU's Global Exchange partner universities in the Netherlands, South Korea, Sweden, France, Spain, Germany, and Japan. They join fourteen other exchange students who are completing the academic year at FSU, for a total of 23 Global Exchange students on campus this semester.
Best of luck to our new international students!
