Attend the 2022 Florida International Leadership Conference
Attend the Florida International Leadership Conference (FILC) from February 4–6, 2022 at Camp Cloverleaf in Lake Placid, Florida.
FILC brings together more than 150 domestic and international students from more than 15 different Florida colleges and universities to engage in a weekend of leadership learning activities.
The deadline to apply is Friday, November 5, 2021. Interested students may attend an info session held each Monday in October at 4 p.m. in The Globe Room 2400.
"We're excited to offer this opportunity to FSU students again," said Michelle Lawson, CGE Programs Coordinator. "Our last cohort from 2020 shared their experiences at FILC in this video. I would like to invite interested students to check it out and attend one of our info sessions to learn more."
Each year 10-12 FSU students and two peer leaders are selected to attend FILC. The Center for Global Engagement covers all costs for participants who are selected to go to this conference.
This conference empowers future international leaders through teambuilding exercises and sessions on a variety of topics ranging from global leadership and intercultural communication to campus activism. Participants also enjoy social activities such as campfires, a coffee house, and a Saturday evening dance.
