Housing & Dining
Students will live in a residence hall or apartment on or near the Florida State University campus. Students will be able to walk to class easily, though FSU also has a free bus system for students. The rooms are double occupancy, like a typical university residence hall. This means that each room has two beds, two wardrobes, two desks, and one bathroom.
There are Ethernet connections in the rooms for students with laptops.
Laundry facilities, vending machines, a lounge, a study room, and a recreational room are all available on each floor. There is also a Community Assistant on every floor and a front desk staffed 24 hours a day, should emergencies arise.

Peer Mentors
In addition, FSU Center for Global Engagement will hire one or more FSU students who would serve as a Peer Mentor to field questions students might have about college campus life in the United States. The College of Engineering will also hire a Peer Mentor to provide additional student support. The typical Peer Mentor is an upper level FSU student who is knowledgeable about FSU, is interested in learning about other cultures and has experience traveling abroad.Peer Mentors also facilitate activities and excursions designed to help the Center for Global Engagement achieve its goal of seeing Special Academic Program students integrated into campus life and every-day interactions with FSU students. Among other opportunities arranged to achieve this end, students may also choose to participate in the Center for Global Engagement's International Friends Program in which they meet with FSU students for conversation and cultural interaction.
