J-1 Advising
| We recommend that you make an appointment to see an adviser. While we have walk-in hours, they are on a first come, first served basis and are for short, general advising questions and travel signatures only. Appointments ensure that your adviser has ample time to help you with your more specific questions and concerns. To make an appointment, please call the front desk at 644-1702. Advisor: Tanya Schaad

Frequently Asked Questions:Question Question Why can't I make same day appointments? Answer Your advisers set aside time during the day to process your requests, to attend meetings at the office or outside of the office, to serve on committees and on previously scheduled appointments. Advisers try to plan their daily work and same-day appointments prevent efficient planning and organization. Question I know walk-in hours are on a first come, first served basis, but what if I have an emergency? Can I be seen first? Answer Every student's concern is important. We have to treat all students fairly. |
