Twenty-two Global Ambassador Program (GAP) volunteers from 18 countries around the world were acknowledged by the Center for Global Engagement in a program reception on April 15.

The Global Ambassadors Program gives international students and visiting scholars at FSU the opportunity to be cultural ambassadors by presenting about their home countries and cultures to community organizations, K-12 students, and FSU classes.

This presentation will focus on deconstructing accepted frameworks for Gender Equity and Social Inclusion (GESI) that the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) has integrated in the implementation of its projects.

The Global Ambassadors Program (GAP) gives international students and visiting scholars at FSU the opportunity to be cultural ambassadors. Global Ambassadors engage in speaking opportunities throughout Tallahassee and present to community organizations, K-12 students, and FSU students. Participants develop their public speaking and presentation skills in English, meet new people, and use the experience on their resumes/CVs.

FSU's Center for Global Engagement’s Engage Your World Speaker Series presents Making a Difference Through Diplomacy: Consider Joining the U.S. Department of State by CB Toney on Wednesday, February 23, at 5 p.m. on Zoom.

CB Toney is the Diplomat in Residence for the U.S. Department of State’s and recruits in northern Florida, southern Alabama, and southern Georgia. He will share how you can put your FSU degree to use through meaningful work at the State Department.

Florida State University’s Center for Global Engagement (CGE) welcomed over 150 new international students from 26 countries to campus this spring. These new arrivals contribute to FSU's global footprint, which now includes over 1,700 international students coming from approximately 120 countries and areas.
