OPT Workshops
Post-completion Optional Practical Training (OPT) is a full-time employment authorization that many F-1 students are eligible for after completion of all coursework requirements or after completion of all degree requirements. OPT employment authorization may only be used to pursue work in the specific field of study listed on a student's I-20. To received OPT authorization, students must submit an application to USCIS requesting it. For more information about OPT, see here.
It is required that students attend an OPT workshop before submitting an OPT application to USCIS.
