New 'Global FSU' Website Highlights All Things International at FSU

Global FSU website

FSU is pleased to announce that a new GLOBAL FSU website has been launched and is currently featured on the FSU home page. It is available at global.fsu.edu and under Get to Know FSU on the home page. The website is designed to highlight all things international at FSU and emphasize the extent of our global footprint. It also serves as a  portal for students to quickly find all of the options available to them for international engagement abroad, as well as for intercultural opportunities on campus. The travel policy section includes the new international health insurance requirements for all outbound students beginning this summer, as well as information for faculty and advisors who support/facilitate students and groups going abroad.

If you have an FSU program or information you would like added to this website, please send the information to global@fsu.edu.

Intercultural Programs Series: Native Tribes of the Southeastern U.S.

Native Tribes of the Southeastern US

Tue, Mar 29 | 7 pm | The Globe Dining Room
Come celebrate the cultures of the Creek and Seminole native tribes through dance, art, and food! The event is co-hosted with the American Indian Student Union and Mission San Luis.

"I believe this is an important discussion for our campus to have since our campus identity is based on the image of the Seminole tribe," said Lauren Coffman, Student Assistant for Intercultural Programs and organizer of the event. "I hope that whomever attends will learn about the diversity and beauty of these tribes."

The Intercultural Program Series offers a way to experience global cultures without having to leave campus, and it's designed to engage individuals through hands-on participation. Free and open to the public. Qualifies for the Global Citizenship Certificate
