Join Us for the 23rd International Bazaar Saturday, February 17 | 2-5 PM | FSU Union Ballrooms

Please join us for another exciting International Bazaar featuring cultures from around the world. Enjoy performances from more than 13 cultural groups, visit table displays from over 30 student and community organizations, and sample a variety of international foods. There will also be a kids’ corner that will provide children with engaging activities to learn more about the world in which they live.

The FSU Andean Ensemble and members of the Hispanic Graduate Student Association (HiGSA) will perform different pieces from the musical style of the Andes region.

“This performance aims to interpret music under the principles of collectivity, equality, and inclusiveness,” said Maritza Caballero Rosado, treasurer of HiGSA. “We are really excited to share some of the traditional music of the Andes with the FSU community. Our special performance includes tarkeada, tinku, and sikureada.”

Attendees will also enjoy performances from the FSU Belly Dancers, Bangladeshi Student Association, Tallahassee Capoeira, TCC Dance Company, Middle Eastern Dance Cooperative, Hallyu Wave Club, Viva Flamenco, Lebanese Social Organization, Tenshin Shoden Shurite Martial Arts Society, InternatioNole, Azucar Dance Company, Japanese Community of Tallahassee, India Association of Tallahassee, Anhelo Tango, AHEPA Scholars, and Folklorica Filipiana.

For those who cannot attend, the Center for Global Engagement will be streaming a portion of the event through Facebook Live. So tell your friends and family around the globe, and follow us at facebook.com/fsucge.
