Interested in gaining a world of knowledge?
If you:
- are a responsible, committed, student interested in the field of international education or cross-culture exchange
- would like to serve as an intern (for credit, unpaid) OR as a work-study employee (Note: For unpaid, for-credit internships, the CGE asks that applicants be willing to enroll for 3-6 credit hours of internship credit which translates to 10-20 hours a week of work at the CGE.)
- are interested in learning new skills and competencies
Then we have a world of opportunities for you.
The internship opportunities available are varied. Some positions will provide the opportunity to learn immigration rules and regulations that pertain to international students in the US. Others focus more on programs and activities designed to help international students become more familiar with US culture and academic culture, as well as programs that engage both US and international students to promote cross-cultural understanding.
With hands-on work, interns will gain knowledge and understanding about how this office works within the Division of Student Affairs and the services that it provides to the FSU campus and community. Our internships provide an excellent opportunity for the student to learn about the field of international education.
